About James Egbuchulam
James Egbuchulam worked at Radio Nigeria for 35 years as a Studio Manager, Announcer, Producer and Marketing Officer.
He was Controller Programmes, Controller Marketing, Manager Public Affairs HQ, General Manager Radio Nigeria Heartland FM Owerri.
He was also the Pioneer General Manager, Radio Nigeria, Pacessetter FM Umuahia, Abia State.
As a poet, writer and novelist, his books have been listed in over 20 websites across the world.
He’s a member, Nigerian Institute of Management(Chartered) and other professional bodies as well as a Knight of the Anglican Communion.
James hails from Eze Egbuchulam’s Royal Family Umunoha in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. He was educated at Baptist High School, Port Harcourt, College of the Immaculate Conception, Enugu and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he studied Mass Communication.
He has published over 30 (thirty) Essays and articles in different magazines and newspapers since 1973, and authored the book, “Motherness and Other Poems” (in the book and compact Disc). His novel, “The Chains Are Broken” is used at some tertiary institutions.
As a Poet, James has publicly performed his moving poem, Tsunami Cry at the invitation of Abuja Tsunami Support Committee. He equally writes and performs poems in Igbo Language and Pidgin English.
James Egbuchulam is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Member Institute of Public Administration, Member Nigerian Union of Journalists and Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration. He was a correspondent of Radio France International.
Presently, he is the CEO of JUNO-TEL
